Juvenile Drug Treatment Court (JDTC)

The Juvenile Drug Treatment Court (JDTC) is designed for post-adjudicated juveniles who need help for alcohol and other drug use that contributes to illegal behavior. The mission of the JDTC is to increase public safety by providing a comprehensive system of treatment services, judicial supervision and an integration of Court and community services to the juvenile and his/her family which will result in reduced recidivism, increased school attendance, increased employability and sobriety which protect the rights of juveniles.

The JDTC has been very fortunate to receive funds from the Turn 2 Foundation for the past six years. The funds have been used to enrich and promote educational opportunities for successful graduates, to develop and implement experiential programs that aid and equip juveniles in overcoming substance abuse issues, to expose juveniles to an alternative life style and to reinforce positive behavior with positive rewards for appropriate behavior.
