  2004 Season Recap
After opening the season with the worst slump of his career, Derek hit .396 in June and .307 in the second half, finishing the year at .292. He also came one homer shy of his career high, but his signature moment came in the field, when he dove head-first into the stands to save a game against the Red Sox on July 1. Add to cart >

vs. July 1, 2004 (Full Game)
In one of the wilder games in recent memory, the Yankees and Red Sox threw everything they had at each other for 13 innings, countering one great play with another. Just when it looked as if the Red Sox had finished the Yankees off, New York delivered the knockout punch, scoring twice in the bottom of the 13th to take a 5-4 win. One person who was unable to witness it was Derek Jeter, who was on his way to a local hospital after crashing violently into the left-field seats while making a game-saving catch in the 12th inning.   vs. Oct. 31, 2001 -- World Series Game 4 (Full Game)
Down 3-1 with two outs in the ninth, Tino Martinez clobbered Byung-Hyun Kim's first pitch for a two-run, game-tying homer. Mariano Rivera retired the side in the 10th, and neatly set the stage for Derek Jeter's dramatic walk-off home run in the bottom of the inning. The ball flew out of the park just as the clock crept past midnight, instantly earning Jeter the moniker, "Mr. November." Add to cart >

vs. Oct. 13, 2001 -- ALDS Game 3 (Full Game)
With their backs against the wall, the Yankees traveled to Oakland one loss away from elimination. The turning point in the game came on a bang-bang play in the bottom of the seventh when Terrence Long drilled a ball into the right-field corner. Yankee right fielder Shane Spencer fielded and threw toward the plate where Jeremy Giambi was trying to score from first without sliding. Shortstop Derek Jeter, up the first-base line, cut the throw off and executed a backhanded flip to Posada, who tagged Giambi out. The play preserved the lead, ended the inning, and turned the Series momentum the Yankees' way. Add to cart >

vs. Oct. 26, 2000 -- World Series Game 5 (Full Game)
The Mets took a 2-1 lead in the bottom of the first, but Derek Jeter, the eventual Series MVP, would homer to tie the game in the top of the sixth. The game would stay tied into the ninth, when the Yanks would stage a two-out rally against Al Leiter. Luis Sojo would be the hero, slapping a single up the middle to drive in two and clinch the Subway Series for the Yanks. Add to cart >
