In a word or phrase, what does leadership mean to you? Commitment.

Why did you join the program? It was an opportunity to positively impact my community and my peers with assurance that I could actually make a difference.

What have you gained from the program? I've gained a sense of what being a leader is actually about, not just making people follow you and do what you do, but positively impacting them. Making them remember what you've done.

What is your favorite part of the program? Being able to see the reactions of the differences I've made. For example, when we did the holiday express event the kids' faces were priceless. When we handed them their gift bags it was a feeling you don't just get easily, it is the feeling that you've made a difference.
