In a word or phrase, what does leadership mean to you? Acceptance.

Why did you join the program? I joined the program because after attending the orientation I loved everything that the program was about. I enjoyed and anticipated the fact that we were going to help out our community because I always wanted to, but never knew how to. I also enjoyed when Jessica Cole spoke, and I knew that I would become an even better person.

What have you gained from the program? I gained an understanding of how the leadership skills that I already had could be used to help more people than I already had. I was already a leader who demonstrated healthy lifestyles, but this program helped me utilize these skills in a beneficial way.

What is your favorite part of the program? My favorite part of the program would be the leaders and the Turn 2 staff. I enjoy positive people that we are surrounded with. I also appreciated how friendly everyone is. We all learn from each other, and together we are better leaders than any one of us could be individually.
