Jeter's Leaders 2007-08 Vice President; member since 2004

In a word or phrase, what does leadership mean to you? Morality.

Why did you join the program? I joined the Jeter's Leaders program because I wanted to gain leadership skills and become a better public speaker. I also joined this program because I enjoy helping out my community and my peers.

What have you gained from the program? This program has taught me the importance of exemplifying leadership characteristics throughout my school and community. Through Jeter's Leaders, I have learned many valuable characteristics that define a leader. I have learned how to be a role model, I have learned how to set good examples for younger students, and have also learned how to positively influence my community. Also the Jeter's Leaders program has taught me the importance of always doing what is right.

What is your favorite part of the program? My favorite part of Jeter's Leaders program is the Summer Conference. It is a lot of fun getting together and chillin' with all the Jeter's Leaders. Also the gifts are nice too.
